Finding Safety and Solace
At SafeHouse, we provide short and long-term campus housing for women, teenagers, and children affected by domestic violence.
Private Rooms
The Shelter offers families more than just a roof and a bed; we provide the comfort of a home, including a common living area and private bedrooms. SafeHouse also has a Pet Wing with four rooms set aside for survivors and their pets. The Pet Wing can accommodate up to 5 cats or dogs at a time.
Full Kitchen
A full kitchen is provided with everything needed to cook a great meal. Common gathering space, clean and up to date.
Kid Zone
A space dedicated to kids and teens. Enjoy toys, video games, computers, and music. A quiet area is also provided for reading and homework.
Career Center
We provide computer access to assist in the search for jobs and housing. Our advocates can offer help with applications, interview prep, and case management.
SafeHouse Boutique
Our boutique provides a variety of options for all ages, clothing, shoes, accessories, for job interviews and everyday attire.
Laundry
The Shelter’s fully stocked laundry room helps maintain a clean and healthy atmosphere. Detergents and laundry products can be provided.
Fresh Air
Take a breather. From a playground and basketball court for the kiddos to a secret garden and reading rockers for quiet time.
