Informing the Community about Domestic Violence
As part of our efforts to ensure a violence-free future for our community, SafeHouse of Seminole is dedicated to providing free, on-site trainings and presentations for organizations across Central Florida. During our training sessions, we provide valuable information on spotting the warning signs of domestic abuse, what can be done to prevent violence and much more.
SafeHouse violence prevention advocates train community members who have a desire to understand the dynamics of domestic violence providing support for victims and survivors of domestic violence. SafeHouse’s training for professionals include the following:

Training includes an overview of the most recent domestic and sexual assault laws, information to help professionals recognize the warning signs related to domestic abuse, and discussions to encourage sensitivity to the needs of victims.
