Part-Time Shelter Advocate:
SafeHouse is currently looking for a part-time advocate to answer the crisis hotline and provide core services to domestic violence survivors. The shift is Monday, Friday and Saturday mornings from 7:00am-3:30am. A Bachelor’s degree in the field of Human Services or related field preferred. Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience in advocacy and knowledge of domestic and sexual violence issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Proficient use of computer and Microsoft is a must. Candidates considered are subject to criminal background check. Valid Florida driver’s license, liability insurance meeting minimum state requirements, and a satisfactory driving record.
